My husband confessed that he cheated on me at his bachelor's party but I married him anyway.?
My hsbnd of 10 mnths cheated on me 2 wks before our wedding last yr. His bro told me that he was taking him out for drnks & a shooting club to just have a guys night but failed to tell me the strip joint part. I’ve known them for 3yrs, gr8 family, no previous probs with lies & they knew that I hate places like that. The stripper my husband was watching knew it was his bachelor’s party and offered him "services". He turned down the 1st time she asked but then caved in to the temptation the 2nd time. His bro was too drunk to realize he had left the room. The only reason why I know is b/c he came home with guilt written over his face and I ?nd him if he did something bad. It took a while but he told me. After a week of no sleep/food I decided to go on w/ the wedding since it was totally out of character of him and his family cont. to tell me he loves me. Our anniv. is coming up and I am reliving the hurt…how do I forget & moveon? Can he really luv me and do something like that? Pls help

That said it was stupid to marry a person who would have sex with a prostitute. Thats a great way to start a marriage.
You might be surprised but you have only yourself to blame. He is responsible for what he did but you chose to overlook it. When you decided to do that, you should have put in the past and moved on.
Also, I think you are lying to yourself, You didnt marry him because his family convinced you. You married him because the wedding was so close and you were embarrased at the thought of telling others what he did.
You made the choice, stop punishing for your stupid choices.

I think the fact that he admitted it to you (unlike most people today) says a LOT about him.
Don’t be afraid to confess your feelings to him about it. I think it’s best if you both work through it together.

People usually get freaked out before their wedding. If you know he isn’t like that and love him I think you should be able to forget about it. Remember that he married you because he loves you.

he loves you because he told you and his guilt shows that he will never do it again. dont worry HE LOVES YOU, talk to him about the whole "reliving it" thing and he will probably understand, it helps ME when i talk about stuff thats bothering me and hopefully it will help you too.

Forgive and forget, move on with your marriage and talk to a consoler or pray and I hope it helps you. People make mistakes and alcohol is usually a great excuse maker but people are responsible for their own actions it is up to you to forgive him but it sounds like you love him. Work it out for both your sakes so you don’t end the marriage over one mistake.
